Inkvolt Support

Support: Inkvolt for iPhone, iPad and Android

Help with Inkvolt, the PDF reader, scanner and printer companion for iPhone, iPad and Android.

Get in touch

Email gabriel@bermudezsystems.com with the device, its system version and Inkvolt's version (Settings › About). Please don't attach a document unless you're happy to share it: a description of what happened is usually enough. We answer within two business days. Puede escribirnos en español.

Where are my documents?

On your device, in Inkvolt's own folder. On iPhone and iPad it shows in the Files app as "Inkvolt", folders and all, so you can copy documents in and out there. On Android, bring documents in with Import or "Open with Inkvolt", and send them out with Share or "Save to…". Deleting the app deletes its folder, so save anything you want to keep somewhere else first.

Are my changes saved?

Yes. Markup, form fields, signatures and page changes are saved into the document as you go, and Undo takes them back while the document is open. The marks are standard PDF annotations, so they show in Preview, Acrobat and other readers.

Scanning paper

Tap Scan to use the camera. On iPhone and iPad this is Apple's document camera; on Android it is Google's document scanner, which Google Play services may download the first time you use it. The scan becomes a PDF in the folder you're in.

My printer doesn't show up

Inkvolt finds printers that announce themselves on the Wi-Fi (AirPrint, IPP Everywhere, Mopria, AirScan/eSCL). Check that the phone and the printer are on the same network and, on iPhone and iPad, that Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network allows Inkvolt. If the printer still doesn't appear, add it by its IP address on the Printers tab.

Privacy

No account, no analytics, no ads, and your documents never leave the device unless you send them. The details are in the privacy policy.
